It looks as though Antonio Conte’s side will make their World Cup group stage debut in Portugal.
The Juventus coach said he is targeting a return to Italy for the final, despite the lack of competition.
Conte is hoping to take a squad that has a total of 26 players from the previous group stage, but the former Chelsea boss has yet to reveal who he is hoping will be part of the squad for the opening game against Slovenia.
Conmey said: “It’s a great group and I hope I will be able to go to Portugal.”
Conte also revealed he was targeting players with a lot of experience in Europe.
“I want to have a good group of players with experience,” Conte said.
“The main objective is to be able play in the same stadiums as the others, in front of the same fans and to be close to the opponent.”
Conmeydes hopes to include three of the four former Juventus stars on the starting line-up, but will need to secure the signing of a replacement for former Lazio striker Giorgio Chiellini.

“We are still waiting for the result of the transfer, but Giorio Chiello has been training here and would be a good addition to the team,” Conmeyns coach said.
