In the past, the smartphone has made it easy to create wedding websites.
But, now, you can create one that looks like it’s coming out of a computer or a tablet, without needing to worry about getting an accurate photo or a high-resolution image.
A few weeks ago, Minted announced that it would be releasing a smartphone-optimized version of its Wedding Photographer’s Desktop app.
Today, the company has made the software available for the Apple Watch, which it says is “the most widely adopted and most reliable of all platforms.”
The software also includes an “optical preview” feature that shows you a preview version of your photo before you actually take it.
You can use this preview to edit and crop your image before uploading it to the Wedding Photographer website, which will look good on your watch.
(We hope this is just the tip of the iceberg, as Minted says that its mobile apps will eventually include “optimized versions of all major web browsers.”)
The software comes with a free trial of the Wedding Photography app.
You also get a $1 credit toward your next order, which lets you pay for the full version of the app, if you want to.
You’ll have to pay $20 for the first version, $40 for the second, and $50 for the third.
If you’re a seasoned wedding photographer and want to try out a more premium version of Minted’s software, you’ll have until the end of January to do so.
Minted is also planning to launch a mobile version of The Wedding Photographer in the next few months.
We have reached out to Minted for comment and will update this post if we hear back.
(Update: A Minted representative told Ars that the company will soon begin shipping a free version of Wedding Photographer to Apple Watch users.)
