PA to raise unemployment rate by 1% to 3% by 2021

PA, the PA Bank, the National Bank and the PA Public Service are to raise the unemployment rate in 2021 by 1%, the Public Service will increase the rate to 3%, and the Bank will increase its rate to 2%.

The government says the changes will be made to help boost economic growth and provide more certainty to the private sector.

It will also make public sector employment more predictable.

The PA said it would be raising its unemployment rate from 5% to 6% in 2021.

The rate is currently set at 6%.
